We embrace a hybrid work environment. Within this role, you would work 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) in our London office and the remaining days at home.

Job Purpose 

We are looking for an experienced Lead/Senior Producer, who excels at project management side and has direct and successful experience delivering in one of the following areas: feature development, release management or technical development. You will partner with the Project Leads to either lead a key delivery team or manage specific area of the game project.

As an experienced Producer at NaturalMotion, you will have central communication and leadership role within delivery structure. You will be leading by example, planning, resourcing, mentoring, empowering, course correcting, protecting your team or area of development, making improvements, using retrospectives, finding solutions and above else, keeping delivery direction true to the vision and goals as outlined in Acceptance Criteria.

You will work on risk assessment and mitigation, maintaining resource tracker, resolving issues, outlining dependencies, and communicating across the whole project, including Project Leadership.  You will also be tasked with regular reporting out of your areas of responsibility, covering all the points above.

In your daily job, you will be asked to switch between tactical and strategical view. At one day your job can be about quickly reacting to a change, including decision-making and communications. On the other day, you will have to spend some time thinking about roadmap for your team for 6-12 months ahead.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan and Execute: working with Feature Owners, delivery teams, leadership, and partner teams, you will capture and track the work state, set backlog & development priorities, clarify roles and responsibilities, clearly communicate goals, report regularly and maintain steady pace of execution
  • Manage Delivery: deliver on time, budget and quality while keeping everyone around informed & aligned
  • Manage Team: make sure delivery teams are happy, motivated, know what they do and can look forward into the future with optimism
  • Triage and prioritize bug fixes maintaining a healthy, manageable, controlled bug backlog
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Collaborate closely with Game Teams, LiveOps, and craft leaders to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment
  • Establish (when needed), Drive and Maintain regular, high-quality reporting in your areas of responsibility
  • Drive processes improvements continuously, supporting and nurturing culture of efficiency
  • Lead by example, whenever needed. Set goals, course correct to align with direction, solve problems, communicate clearly, do project direction updates, be honest to your team, your leadership and yourself. Present transparent progress status and risk plan reporting, as well as quantitative production milestone metrics

 Required Skills & Experience 

  • You will have demonstrable ability in defining, overseeing and executing delivery in gaming environment in one of key areas: feature development, release management or technical development
  • Deep knowledge about project management standards and practices with ability to show how they apply to specific situations (Scrum, Agile, Kanban, Waterfall)
  • Knowledge about mobile games and key Design and Product pillars for mobile gaming
  • Demonstrable ability to say “no” to senior management, while justifying it and proposing solution
  • Comfortable communicating and presenting across the whole project spectrum from Intern to General Manager and beyond, be it on 1v1, small meetings or big meetings
  • Strong status and risk reporting skills including executive-level project reporting
  • Effective at bringing order out of chaos, excellent prioritization and decision making skills
  • Capable of being responsible for a defined area of a project, expected to provide best practice input and mentoring to the more junior members of the group
  • A real passion for gaming, mobile preferred
