Celebrating Women’s History Month

Throughout the month of March, Women at Zynga (WAZ) has hosted a series of virtual initiatives to honor Women’s History Month. Zynga’s commitment to women throughout the company is core to our mission every day, and this month provided us with the opportunity to further honor their accomplishments, contributions, resilience, and perspectives.

In addition to spotlighting some of the incredible women that work at our game studios around the world, our global WAZ chapters took part in a variety of virtual events and initiatives.

Some of the virtual Women’s History Month events hosted by WAZ included:

  • “Women in Gaming” panel discussion hosted by the WAZ Austin Chapter
  • Virtual Embroidery Workshop hosted by our WAZ North America Chapters
  • Virtual interactive gaming event hosted by the WAZ UK Chapter
  • Virtual luncheon hosted by the WAZ Chicago Chapter
  • Interactive theatre play hosted by the WAZ India Chapter
  • Hidden Figures film screening hosted by the WAZ Toronto Chapter
  • Stretch & Meditation Class hosted for all Global Chapters

Thank you to all who organized and participated in our virtual Women’s History Month initiatives. We are carrying our celebration and learnings into the remainder of the year, and beyond!
