Zynga and Lucasfilm Games Release First Official Gameplay Trailer for Star Wars: Hunters™, Coming to Nintendo Switch and Mobile in 2022

Eagerly Anticipated Team-based Competitive Action Game is Available Now in Mobile Soft Launch in Select Markets

SAN FRANCISCO – December 6, 2021 – Today, Zynga Inc. (Nasdaq: ZNGA), a global leader in interactive entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games debuted the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming competitive arena combat game, Star Wars: Hunters. Coming to Nintendo Switch and mobile devices in 2022, the game has entered soft launch on Google Play for Android devices in select markets and will be available in soft launch on the App Store early next year.

Today’s trailer showcases a selection of the competitive arenas and the diverse roster of Hunters fighting for glory within Vespaara’s in-game sporting complex. Highlighting each individual combatant’s unique fighting style – Rieve and J-3DI’s lightsaber wielding expertise, Zaina and Sentinel’s deadeye blaster accuracy, Imara Vex’s arsenal of bounty hunting weaponry, Grozz’s brute strength, the cunning tech of Slingshot’s droideka and Utooni’s resourceful use of scavenged scraps – the Arena becomes their stage for epic 4 x 4 battles.

Set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, Star Wars: Hunters will connect players in real time to battle in arena settings inspired by iconic Star Wars locales in teams of four. Players will compete as daring bounty hunters, heroes of the Rebellion and holdouts of the fallen Empire in an action game that immerses players in fast-paced and visually stunning Star Wars conflict. Upon launch in 2022, Star Wars: Hunters will be available as a free download for the Nintendo Switch, on the App Store and on Google Play and will support cross-play across all platforms. Star Wars: Hunters does not require a Nintendo Switch Online membership to download and play.
