In celebration of International Cat Day on August 8, FarmVille 3 is proud to launch a partnership with Public Benefit Corporation Dots.eco, creating an opportunity for players to earn in-game rewards while contributing directly to real-world animal welfare causes.

Running August 11 through September 7, the Kitten Rescue event invites players on a daring operation to safely locate two young felines lost in the woods. Players can complete everyday farm chores to gather materials, craft search tools and clear areas on their farms as they pursue the wayward kittens to bring them home.

Over the course of the four-week event, players can upgrade their Rescue Base using Co-op Rescue Tokens and crafted items as they progress through four distinct phases. Successfully rescuing the kittens rewards players with 7-day game boosts. For those looking for an extra edge, a purchasable Premium Pass offers instant phase completion, extra barn space and bonus boosts.

The impact of this event extends far beyond the in-game farm, however. By making in-game purchases between August 11 and August 18, players contribute directly to Dots.eco’s Support Rescued Pets initiative, which funds animal welfare and pet rescue initiatives around the globe. Each contribution is validated with an official Dots.eco impact certificate, known as “dots”, with 5,000 certificates available throughout the course of the event. Additionally, three randomly selected certificate holders will be featured on the official FarmVille 3 website.
