Empires & Puzzles Joins Green Game Jam With an In-Game Event To Help Protect Our Planet
It’s #WorldEnvironmentDay! To celebrate, Small Giant Games (“Small Giant”), is proud to take part in Playing for the Planet’s Green Game Jam by launching an in-game event in Empires & Puzzles to showcase the power of gaming in relation to food, forests and our future.
For three days, (June 3 – 6, 2022) players will be able to solve an in-game “weekend quiz” in Empires & Puzzles for rewards, including a unique avatar only obtainable through this event! The quiz will also link to the Ecosia store where players may choose to donate trees.
Players will also be able to participate in a forest-themed fan art contest by submitting works (with the #WorldEnvironmentDay hashtag) to Instagram, Twitter, or the Empires & Puzzles Community Forum. Small Giant will draw up a shortlist at the end of the month, and then players will get to vote for their favorite pieces! The artists for the top five entries will be awarded with in-game prizes such as Gems and other valuable items. The contest will begin on June 3, 2022 and will end on July 4, 2022.
