A Clean Sweep: Zynga Expands Popular Sweepstakes Campaigns to Multiple Hit Games

Back in June, we celebrated a major milestone for Two Dots with the game’s 11th anniversary. As part of the celebration, we ran a tropical vacation sweepstakes that invited players to dive into themed events to collect tickets and compete for a dream getaway.
The response was incredible. Players loved the sense of excitement and progression and the campaign generated meaningful engagement across our community. The success of that initiative made it clear that our players are enthusiastic about experiences that go beyond standard gameplay and give them fun, rewarding moments to look forward to.
So, we decided to take that momentum and build something bigger.
This month, we’re expanding our sweepstakes initiative across multiple titles: Dragon City, FarmVille Country Escape, and, once again, Two Dots. Each game has its own personality and audience, so our goal was to design something that feels cohesive at a campaign level while still tailored to the unique experience of each title.
As with the June campaign, players can earn sweepstakes tickets by participating in specific themed in-game events. These are activities they’re already familiar with, such as seasonal challenges and community missions, but now with an added layer of reward and anticipation. Each ticket gives players an entry into the sweepstakes, where they’ll have the chance to win a grand prize of between $10,000–$15,000 in real cash depending on the game their winning ticket was earned in. To complement that, we’ve also built in a range of secondary rewards, including in-game currency, special gift boxes and other bonuses that differ slightly from game to game.
The idea here is to create a multi-title experience that feels celebratory and connected. We want our players to feel that whether they’re nurturing their farm, hatching dragons or connecting dots, they’re part of something larger happening across the Zynga ecosystem.
One of the most exciting aspects of campaigns like this is how they energize our communities. Players get to jump into content that feels special and event-driven, while also having a clear sense of progress through the tickets they collect. Because we’ve worked closely with each game team, the sweepstakes dovetails naturally with gameplay and doesn’t feel bolted on or intrusive. It’s meant to complement a player’s normal session and provide a new layer of motivation along the way.
We’ve also seen how real-world prizes create a unique spark. Digital rewards are important and meaningful, but the possibility of a substantial cash prize adds a sense of excitement that resonates across our audience. It doesn’t matter if you’re a longtime Dragon City master or someone who picks up Two Dots for a few minutes a day, the idea of turning your gameplay into the chance for a major reward is both fun and aspirational.
We’re excited to roll this out, and even more excited to see how players respond. The sweepstakes will run across all three titles, with each game featuring its own event schedule and ticket-earning opportunities.
