Zynga is searching for a University Relations Manager to positively impact our talent brand, culture and funnel. Zynga’s University Relations program maintains a consistent focus on empowering historically underserved communities and this position serves as a champion for our equity and inclusion values. This person will create strategy, as well as support development and execution of all junior talent programming. Leveraging your project management, organizational and communication skills, you will work with various partners within Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and the business to identify, hire and develop the next generation of talent.

In this role, you will help drive an important funnel of future “Zyngites” both as interns and new grads. The main focus of the role is to lead on campus activities, heighten awareness of Zynga's employer brand, create and manage internal talent programs and continuously develop relationships with key partners both internal and external.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Design and maintain a comprehensive University Relations Program, collaborating with internal stakeholders on the strategy, development, and execution of the UR program throughout the US.
  • Maintain close relationships with senior business partners to promote junior talent strategies and create new and innovative programming; structuring and facilitating the internship experience from orientation to full-time candidate conversion including activities, manager training, check-ins, student presentations, and offers. Proactively review and refine processes to increase efficiencies, champion consistency and support a highly positive candidate experience.
  • Create and oversee a best-in-class intern/co-op and partner experiences with an emphasis on driving engagement and excitement about work at Zynga.
  • Develop, drive, and lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion recruiting initiatives for the UR program.
  • Identify target Universities with whom to partner. Build and foster relationships with target universities. Oversee partnerships with university career centers, faculty, student groups etc. to execute recruiting and engagement events. Create and execute campus partnerships to promote diversity in the gaming industry, and in tech at large.
  • Create and oversee the road maps and execution of strategic events to build and strengthen our brand at recruiting events including on campus and at conferences. Implement impactful recruitment campaigns to attract and select the best talent.  Develop and lead on-campus initiatives i.e. networking events, tech talks, panels, information sessions, career fairs, targeted events etc.
  • Compile and analyze data and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Partner with University Career / Alumni Centers and the Zynga Compensation Team to understand the university talent market, in order to stay competitive with intern and recent college graduate salaries, bonuses, and relocation trends.
  • Partner closely with Zynga hiring teams to plan headcount both for internship and new graduate hiring. Understand annual budget allocation, make recommendations, and ensure the overall program stays within budget.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing university recruiting or junior talent recruitment programs. Exceptional knowledge of university placement strategies and execution.
  • 2+ years DEI experience / focus in work.
  • Ability to conduct deep probe interviews and screens in order to assess key requirements for positions.
  • In depth experience with data tracking, budgeting, and tracking expenses.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences, both one-to-one and one-to-many, while maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Proven capability to influence senior business stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Ability to share the overall company vision and talent strategy.
  • Proven skill to encourage, empower and provide a vision.
  • Strong project management and creative problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning and presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency in driving processes and improvement projects with minimal direction.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and demonstrate initiative, results, and a focus on service.
  • Passion for technology and/or games/entertainment.
  • Comfortable with up to 20% travel through the year.
