AVAILABLE POSITIONS Threat and Vulnerability Management Analyst

Zynga is currently seeking a Threat and Vulnerability Analyst to focus on today’s evolving cyber security threats.  This individual will be responsible for conducting ongoing comprehensive analysis of the findings Zynga’s Vulnerability Management Tooling and 3rd Party Assessments, and investigations as needed. The candidate will possess strong technical skills and have current experience working with Vulnerability Management tools, Configuration Management tools and project management.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Identification of detection mechanisms, implementation and tuning
  • Management of 3rd party engagements, correlation of vulnerability data and interpretation of the reports
  • Produce reports on security patches, exploits, and vulnerabilities, recommend and track the application of fixes, patches, and security updates
  • Develop metrics for vulnerability management functions
  • Provide input, help prepare and update vulnerability management roadmap
  • Support the internal security team and partner teams
  • Email Security
  • Creation of Threat Profiles tailored to environment based on existing threat exposure

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in Configuration Management & Vulnerability Management with exposure to Cloud Security, Project Management or End Point Security
  • Power or Expert level Splunk capabilities
  • Python scripting (particularly with API integration)
  • Effective communicator and listener – excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly
  • Large data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience building security dashboards and presentations
  • Experience supporting internal teams and collaborating across teams
  • Exposure to email security
  • Creating Threat Profiles
  • Pen testing experience

Recommended Skills and Certifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
  • Cybersecurity certifications (GIAC, Splunk, AWS)
