Ad Tech Ops Manager, San Francisco

Zynga is looking for an Ad tech ops manager who exhibits a proven track record of crafting functional requirement documents,  cross-departmental collaboration, and successfully managing the implementation of ad tech products. Responsibilities include:

  • Help set up a protocol for using new products (DFP Premium and Krux DMP) and work with trafficker to test any new ad tech before it goes live and troubleshoot when tags are not working
  • Test ad tech implementations for direct IO and PMP campaigns with Zynga ad servers before directing to the trafficking team.
  • Troubleshoot with DSPs, advertisers and Zynga trafficker on ad tech implementations for PMP such as Programmatic Direct, Viewability etc
  • Understand unique Ad Network configurations in our Ad Server
  • Develop technical specs and trafficking examples when the team On-boards a new ad network
  • Own Ad Network testing specs and configurations
  • Troubleshoot Ad Network activity in mobile apps using Charles logs


  • 5+ years of experience in digital adtech, mobile, analytics, or software product management
  • Experience with buy and sell side ad servers (especially DCM &/or Sizmek), and verification tools (DoubleVerify,
    MOAT, IAS)
  • Strong experience with tag implementation (publisher and partner)
  • Familiarity with HTML/JavaScript coding preferred
  • Comfortable working within fast past and evolving environment.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work within a team, handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our clients & their business
