The Analytics Engineering team is responsible for all things data and ML at Zynga. We are building an End-to-End Analytics Platform. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the software design and development of high-quality services and products to support the Analytics needs of Zynga’s games. In this role, you will be focusing on advanced technology developments for building scalable end-to-end applications for our Experimentation and Targeting Platform, which can be leveraged by our various games.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge and production experience of Java (Spring Framework) or or React

  • 1+ Years of experience working in software engineering roles

  • Solid foundation in basic computer science fundamentals and Programming skills.

  • Experience building high-performance, large-scale applications, and reliable software

  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, documentation, and operations

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments like Amazon’s AWS; 

  • Worked on production systems with both relational and NoSQL database technologies

  • Solid knowledge of one of backend programming language(NodeJS, JAVA, Python) and web frameworks such as Angular or React

  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.

This is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the United States. The pay range for this position for applicants based in Colorado at the start of employment is expected to be between $101,000 and $113,500 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.   Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
