Senior Product Manager (Growth), Words With Friends

Responsibilities:

As our Growth Product Manager, you’ll work closely with our Engineering, Design, Analytics and Marketing teams to grow our player base. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycles of multiple feature areas, drive the overall research strategy to deeply understand our customers and their needs, define and analyze growth features and experiments, and guide the team to move fast and ship solutions.

We’re looking for someone who will:

  • Drive product development from identification of user and business needs, to launch and live operations
  • Develop and maintain our growth product roadmap and strategy in collaboration with engineering, design, analytics and marketing teams
  • Partner with Engineering and Design teams to develop specifications, manage scope, and deliver the product on schedule
  • Define metrics to monitor performance and use them to communicate and manage expectations across the company as well as guide iteration and improvement
  • Champion product quality while also maintaining a high rate of experimentation
  • Effectively balance between urgent business needs and long term strategic initiatives

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management in consumer or game development
  • Ability to create wire-frames, product specifications and white papers
  • Experience running live mobile applications and/or games with multivariate testing is preferred
  • Exceptional data analysis skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive staff
  • Strong passion for games, creating fun, compelling and addictive user experiences
  • Excellent written/oral, interpersonal, analytical abilities, and attention to detail
  • Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry trends
  • Previous start-up, social networking and/or consulting experience is a strong plus
  • Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency preferred
  • BA/BS degree, MBA preferred
