Senior Game Artist (3D) 

Zynga India is looking for an enthusiastic 3D Game Artist who can be part of our new IP  team creating casual games. As a Senior Game Artist, you will be responsible for  creating low poly 3D art including characters, environments, assets, rigging and  skinning. Should be enthusiastic, agile and be able to help the team creating quick  prototype for game pitching. A key member whose primary role is to support the team  and the product and is expected to be proactive in their communication on a daily basis. 

The 3d Game Artist will be working with a team of Designers, Concept Artists,  Animators, Producers and Software Engineers to develop beautiful and optimal game  content.  

As a 3D game Artist, you have a strong understanding of artistic fundamentals, both 3D and 2D. You are familiar with industry-standard technology, including Maya, Photoshop,  and Unity. 

Responsibilities: 

• Create 3D characters, environment, props, and assets as per requirement. • UV mapping and Texture creation. 
• Responsible for creating prefabs in Unity as per requirement’s 
• Create efficient animation rigs, skin characters and props as per requirement. • Work closely with other art verticals and make sure 3D assets are delivered as  per quality and timeline. 
• Producing prototypes for testing. 
• Interpret concepts, specs, and direction both from design and the Art Director. • Work directly with production to ensure that schedules and plans meet business  and project needs. 
• Maintain a close working relationship with your direct manager, producers, leads,  directors and other teams to push project quality. 
• Maintaining efficient collaboration with other verticals like PM, design, and dev’s • Research, explore, and communicate best practices in art. 

Required Skills: 

• Excellent in creating 3D characters, assets, and environments. 
• Good knowledge in skinning and rigging. 
• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard software, including MAYA, 3ds Max , Blender etc. Excellent creativity and artistic skills. An eye for composition, texture, colour, and lighting. 
• Strong understanding of Unity and Photoshop 
• Skill on 2D art and animation will be added advantage.
• Strong understanding of casual game pipeline. 
• Enthusiastic about games and creating games. 
• 5+ years of professional experience 
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Teamwork oriented attitude and strong sense of ownership. • Problem solving attitude. 
• Strong in verbal communication.
