Zynga’s Ad Monetization team is growing!  We are looking for a Product Manager to join this world-class team delivering the best in-app advertising performance in mobile gaming.  In this critical role, you will work closely with other product managers, engineers, and analysts on the Ad Monetization team and across Zynga (including analytics engineering, machine learning, central analytics, and central technology teams).

You will be responsible for managing the development and requirements of the data and analytics infrastructure, tools, and services that help drive our advertising monetization business.  These include BI tools, data ingestion and pipeline, and systems for business monitoring/reporting/alerting, user level revenue optimization, and Ad personalization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the product lifecycle of our data products & features.  From writing specifications to executing projects, you’ll be in the driver’s seat making decisions that impact our business in a meaningful way.

  • Support our Ad network, Direct and Programmatic Sales businesses. 

  • Exhibit sound product judgment, ability to formulate product strategy, and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals. 

  • Provide valuable input into business cases based on in-depth data analysis and demonstrate how that analysis impacts key product metrics

  • Work with other PMs throughout Zynga to manage roadmaps and execute projects, features, and optimizations.

  • Write your own queries on massive data sets to derive insights, optimize models, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Monitor systems and maintain reliability and accuracy.  Identify and manage resolution of bug fixes and other live ops issues.

  • Potential for dedicated product analyst.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must with a Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or working very closely on technical teams.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in product management or analytics management role.

  • Prior experience in data products around data collection, data ingestion, data warehouse concept, data analysis.  Extra points for prior experience with multiple platforms, consoles, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience with scoping projects, collecting requirements, creating product specifications, carrying features from ideation to deployment.

  • Good knowledge of agile software development methodologies and software development life cycle.

  • Experience with metrics-driven decision-making.

  • Familiarity with yield optimization, user segmentation, and/or personalization a plus.

  • A track record for high performance and team/project leadership, particularly in a matrixed organization.

  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating across multiple teams in different organizations.

  • Enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter, and team player.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Pacific Time Zone locations in the US preferred.  San Francisco Bay Area a plus.
