AVAILABLE POSITIONS Live Ops Product Marketing Manager

Zynga is looking for a Live Ops Product Marketing Manager with exceptional project management and organizational skills to join the Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells team. The Live Ops Product Marketing Manager will lead the live ops marketing function for the game, formulating best in class marketing operations and campaigns for live events working in lockstep with the game team.

As part of the larger marketing organization, this position reports to the Senior Product Marketing Manager and works very closely with other marketing channel owners and the game team on cross-functional initiatives, as the point person for strategy and execution for live ops marketing.  


  • Work closely with Product team and other functional marketing leads, especially the social media and lifecycle marketing (email & push notification) teams, to develop and execute integrated marketing plans by attending all live ops meetings and adapting weekly cadence based on Product needs

  • Assist with execution of all Go-to-Market marketing campaigns with cross-functional partners across all departments, including, product, partnership, social, lifecycle, customer service, and user acquisition. Write creative briefs and track creative projects for internal or external agencies for live ops marketing campaigns

  • Work closely with Product and Marketing team to provide detailed marketing updates on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis

  • Coordinate and lead channel owners for planning and scheduling marketing events around upcoming feature launches

  • Work closely with game and marketing producers to insure timely production and launch of marketing assets

  • Take on other strategic projects in relation to bold beats and marketing plans

Desired Skills: 

  • 3+ years of related experience in marketing free-to-play mobile games with a strong track record of success and results

  • Solid understanding of mobile games and live operations marketing best practices; specifically social media community marketing and email and push notification marketing

  • has an understanding of how to formulate the live events roadmap, the relevant success metrics and how marketing can amplify events using each relevant channel. 

  • Experience working with live operations for mobile games, a strong knowledge of lifecycle marketing and social, and the understanding of how these channels deliver performance for in-game events.

  • Experience building go-to-market plans and overseeing execution

  • Experience – and desire – to perform daily execution and optimization

  • Strong influencing skills; effective cross-functional driver. Skilled at driving consensus across teams

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

  • Strong time management skills- Ability to multi-task more than one project at the same time

  • Ability to be flexible on a day-to-day basis with task priority

  • Operate effectively at an extremely fast pace

  • Intermediate-level knowledge of Jira, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Microsoft Outlook and Slack

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
