What You’ll Be Doing

The HRIS Specialist will analyze, design, and maintain the company’s Human Resources Information System(s). This individual will act as both the project and technical lead for all HRIS related initiatives. Partnering closely with the HR team and other functional partners, you will analyze business needs and enable the reporting and processes required to meet those needs.


  • Provide day-to-day HR systems support and troubleshooting issues
  • Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity
  • Support Director of Total Rewards in performing functions related to Zynga’s global total rewards programs, including, but not limited to: Workday Compensation Structure and Setup, Reporting and Compensation Review
  • Identify, develop and document training of system use for HR, finance, manager and employee users
  • Collaborate with HR and Stakeholders to define business requirements, develop custom reports and build appropriate reporting and metrics
  • Assess system functionality and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, controls and service to users
  • Perform system maintenance, including review, configuration, testing and implementation of Workday and other HR system upgrades and/or patches
  • Additional Skills (Nice to have):
  • Manage vendor interfaces, including integration points, interface processing, monitoring, error identification and resolution
  • BIRT Experience & Knowledge
  • Workday Experience including: Advance Compensation, HCM, Time Off & Leave, Benefits and Advanced Reporting


  • B Tech/ MBA degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of knowledge of HR programs and processes and delivering HR technology analytics and solutions in a global environment
  • Highly analytical with solid ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Great teammate with excellent organization, prioritization, project and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced organization with multiple competing projects
  • Excellent research, analytical, critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills to present to a wide range of audiences
  • MS Office skills (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with keen attention to detail and accuracy
