As the Director, Product Marketing – Casino you will head up the marketing team for Zynga’s Casino stable of products, comprising Zynga Poker and our Slots titles (Hit it Rich, Game of Thrones Slots and Wizard of Oz Slots).

Working closely with the game team leadership and central marketing leaders, you will grow the commercial success of the Casino division at Zynga. You will lead teams to develop best in class marketing strategy and cutting-edge go-to-market plans for future releases and content, you will be at the core of the decision-making.

You’ll partner with Consumer Insights and the game team to influence the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring the game satisfies consumer needs and business objectives.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Closely liaise with functional marketing leadership to develop and execute integrated marketing plans for Casino titles that encompass both performance and brand components

  • Set goals for the different Casino marketing teams they oversee and division overall that are logical, effective and understandable

  • Empower and grow a team of product marketers and social and community managers to succeed

  • Manage overall team resources and headcount planning for the Casino division marketing team

  • Be a peer of studio leadership in defining roadmap and feature development that resonates with the target market

  • Overall owner of marketing franchise plan, brand budget and forecasting for title and division success

  • Analyze performance of all divisional marketing programs to identify the best opportunities for focus and optimisation, regularly iterate to improve performance

  • Lead marketing teams to produce outstanding creative and campaigns that are consistent across all channels and resonates with consumers

  • Be a “marketing ambassador” between the central marketing teams and Casino game leadership

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Significant leadership expertise at a senior level

  • A passion for mobile / video games

  • Experience in the Casino gaming space

  • Shown experience in free-to-play game marketing with a strong background of success and results across multiple game projects

  • Experience of leading launching new games and working on live games as a service

  • Seasoned at partnering with licensors and talent

  • Understanding of free-to-play acquisition, retention and monetizing key product indicators

  • Experience in international marketing strategies

  • Strong influencing skills; effective cross-functional driver

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to be flexible on a day to day basis with task priority
