AVAILABLE POSITIONS Consumer Insights Manager

The Manager of Consumer Insights will design and implement consumer research programs, manage related budgets, and deliver findings to both game development and marketing teams.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Consumer Insights, this person will manage a portfolio of projects across the Zynga portfolio. This person will have demonstrated experience managing people and leading successful consumer research projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead relevant and timely research that drives business outcomes for product development, marketing, and corporate strategy

  • Partner with PMMs, PMs, and studio teams to develop and execute research programs that guide best in class game development and marketing and establish annual research agendas for assigned products

  • Partner with Zynga Analytics and User Insights teams to leverage internal resources for timely and cost-effective insights

  • Partner with Zynga first-party management and ad sales teams to test user journeys and identify opportunities to improve user experience

  • Recruit and maintain gamers for the Zynga managed consumer panel

  • Manage multiple internal and external projects involving complex data analysis

  • Act as point of contact/owner for a wide variety of syndicated data sources

  • Manage research relationships with external vendors and internal partners

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including segmentation, attitude and usage studies, positioning research, ad testing, and customer experience

  • Exhibits broad market research experience in the design of complex market research projects, including recruiting, moderation, programming, and analysis

  • Experience defining the scope and issues for research/analytic initiatives, developing and executing project plans and managing multiple tasks simultaneously, experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented. Strong ability to spot errors

  • Ability to structure and deliver presentations clearly, crisply, and compellingly. Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Self-starter with passion, energy, enthusiasm to drive results and affect meaningful change

  • Not afraid to get hands dirty with data, but sees the bigger picture as well
